Hi there! We’re Wookiee &the Rosebuds, a sister duo out of Broomfield, CO. Our story begins back in high school when I (Eternity, lead singer) was a junior and Felicity (instrumentalist) was a sophomore. We took a trip halfway across the globe and realized that music was our passion and our calling, so we came home and got to work! With zero experience or family members to call on for help or advice, we were truly starting from square one! We’d never touched a DAW and didn’t know the first thing about recording music, but we were adamant that it was the right path for us. We YouTube’d our way through recording our first single “Our Own Galaxy”, and the rest was history…kind of!

Of course, life isn’t so black and white! After a couple of shows and a few years of dealing with life, our paths became pretty different. We stopped recording music together and started to pursue our own journeys. I began recording my own music, and Felicity decided to pursue art. Music will always be the thread that holds us together, so I don’t think we will ever really walk away from it, but we have decided to focus on ourselves for the time being.

That being said, we recently released all of the music we recorded back in high school on an album called “From the Archives”, and I released a new single on September 1st of this year called “Toxic”!

We hope that anyone who listens to us can hear and see themselves in our music. We hope to reflect the hopeful and complicated journey of growing up and finding yourself, and we truly believe anybody could hear our music and remember when they felt those same feelings.
