The Orchids are an indie rock band from the suburbs of Chicago.  Their sound stems from the dreamy and jangly tone that were incredibly prevalent during the 80’s and 90’s scene of alternative rock. They mix this sound with the upbeat pop melodies that are explored in today’s indie rock music. The band is made up of 4 High school Seniors. Kaedin Gillie(singer and rhythm guitar) Matthew Ramirez (lead guitar and backing vocals) Connor Shea (bass) and Kate Krupa (drums). The band has been compared to many great artists like The Stone Roses, Oasis, Peach Pit, Backseat Lovers, Ride and The Sundays. The Orchids invite you to join them through the vileness that is modern living, and to forget all those problems and struggles for at least just a bit to enjoy the music that truly speaks to people.
