Roz Prickel is a songwriter, singer, and actress born and raised on the east coast and a Minnesota transplant. She had been writing and playing in the twin cities, combing raw and striking honestly with whimsical fantasy together in her folk/pop genre. Roz’s Debut EP released in May 2024, Bird of Passage, elicits nostalgia of the greats in their stripped down power and tenderness in equal ferocity. Her song “Calamity Jane” went on to shine as the Current’s song of the day, with their description stating the song evokes the early days of Joni Mitchell. With a background in musical theatre and a bachelors in Fine Art, Roz has a vibrant angle in her songwriting and storytelling, informed by the humor and drama of her Former studies.
