Project Blacklist: The Evolution of an Artist
Project Blacklist is a dynamic American music collective founded by the multi-talented TJ Harris. With a strong foundation in rock, the project masterfully interweaves a variety of genres, including electronic and hip-hop, to create a sound that is both innovative and engaging.
From a young age, TJ’s profound love for music has driven his artistic journey. His musical endeavors began in the 7th grade with the drums, followed by bass guitar in grades 8 and 9, and ultimately transitioning to the electric guitar in 10th grade, where he has continued to flourish. Influenced by multi-instrumentalists like Blue Stahli and Celldweller, TJ finds inspiration in the powerful sounds of bands such as Breaking Benjamin, RED, and Hacktivist, which play a significant role in shaping his writing and recording process.
In 2016, while still navigating high school, Project Blacklist transformed from a mere idea into a vibrant musical entity. Armed with a collection of drafted concepts and a determination to succeed, TJ began forging his path in the music industry, making a name for himself along the way.
Since its inception, Project Blacklist has made significant strides, releasing notable works including the DEMODRAFTICS EP (2022) and three singles followed accordingly Lighting The Flames featuring Jack Frost (2023), The Enforcer (Jack Frost Remix) (2023), & SBMF (2025) Fans can look forward to the upcoming release of two new singles and a new album that will include fresh tracks and reimagined versions of previously released songs from DEMODRAFTICS.
As Project Blacklist continues to evolve, join TJ Harris on this exciting journey, where creativity knows no bounds and music becomes a powerful force for connection and expression.
