Dion Anthony Ruben is a south side Chicago native from the Englewood area with a passion for the music and his community. Coming from a very musical family, Dion was introduce to music at a very young age and found his passion and happiness there. With heavy influence from his grandmothers who raised him, Dion appreciates the new and old vibes from today and yesterday and loves to combine the new and the old in hopes to unite the generations through musical creativity. Coming from Chicago’s Englewood area , Dion has been exposed to some less than good circumstances, however, Dion finds inspiration in his and his community’s struggle. As a student of psychology, political science public health, and as a local educator, Dion has a passion for mental well-being and unity and in all he does you can see evidence of this.
