JAntho CHO is an American recording artist. Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, he started making music at the age of twelve. The music JAntho CHO makes is a mixture of conscious rap, psychedelic, soul, jazz, blues, r&b, & alternative rock, which he calls “CHO Music.” JAntho CHO is mutli-talented, versatile, energetic, & influential. He garnered much attention throughout high school, passing out CD’s of his music to almost everyone he knew & building his fanbase online. After high school JAntho CHO began to perform live shows around the Midwest, receiving attention from record labels and blogs. In November of 2016, JAntho CHO released his first hit single “Tell Me.” When he saw the feedback “Tell Me” got worldwide, JAntho CHO took his music career in a whole new direction. On April 1st, 2017 JAntho released his project “Cloud 180.” Produced by famous UK producer False Ego, Cloud 180 was made to shed a light on psychedelic drugs. With prior experience with psychedelic drugs, JAntho CHO wanted to make people aware of the knowledge & enlightenment one gets from psychedelics and the power that lies behind them. With the influence of psychedelics, psychology, and philosophy, JAntho CHO incorporated these to shape and base the groundwork for his lifestyle and movement called “CHO” which aims to help and guide people on reaching their full potential. From his early days in Kansas City, Missouri, he has built a reputation for defying musical conventions, consistently offering something fresh, thoughtful, and unconventional. With Cloud 180 and now Cloud 180 2 released in 2022, JAntho CHO has solidified his place as an artist who uses music as a vessel for consciousness expansion. His past works have laid the foundation for this latest evolution, with “Sheath“ one of his most daring and introspective tracks yet. It continues his artistic ethos: using sound to explore the depths of the mind and spirit while providing an escape from the mundane.
