About the Band
Ciph Boogie
Artist/Songwriter
Ciph Boogie is a Brooklyn-raised songwriter, storyteller, and hip-hop artist whose music transforms real-life experiences into powerful, cinematic records. Raised between Bedford-Stuyvesant’s Marcy Projects and Canarsie, his writing is rooted in resilience, ambition, grief, and hope, delivering honest stories that resonate far beyond the five boroughs.
Drawing from personal loss and lived experience, Ciph has built a catalog that blends lyrical precision with emotional depth. His music has earned placements with ESPN, the NBA, and Red Bull, proving that authentic storytelling can connect on both an intimate and global scale. Beyond the stage, he also contributed to hip-hop culture behind the scenes, working alongside the late Reggie Osse (Combat Jack) during the rise of podcasting.
In 2025, Ciph’s emotionally charged single “Stars in the Sky,” a tribute to his late mother, earned him the Wavy Award for Songwriter of the Year, a nomination for Song of the Year, and editorial support from Vevo, further establishing him as one of independent hip-hop’s compelling voices.
Performing through his independent label, Asemota Music Group, Ciph continues to champion substance over trends, creating music that speaks to perseverance, legacy, and purpose. With his upcoming single “Raging Early,” he enters his next chapter with the same mission that has defined his career: telling the truth through music and leaving audiences with something they can feel long after the last song ends.
