Cedric Clinton is an O’ahu born hip hop artist whose style is reminiscent of golden era hip hop with conscious lyricism & witty wordplay. In 1999 hip hop changed his life forever. At 14 years old (circa 2003) he started freestyling & crafting his own songs. Over the years he’s shared the stage with legendary artists including DJ Quik, Statik Selektah, Shing02, Zion I, Grouch & Eligh, Myka 9, & Murs. His 2017 debut album “ArtChiTexture” was nominated for Hip Hop Album Of The Year in the Na Hoku Hanohano Awards. From 2017-2021 he was a facilitator for Soundshop which is a hip hop music education program for high school students via the Honolulu Museum of Art. In 2018 Cedric co-founded Bounce Back Hip Hop, which hosted a weekly event @ the Dragon Upstairs in Honolulu.
