Speaker Girl is an Alternative Rock band from Memphis, TN.  Their sound has been described as a time-lapsed blend of nostalgia with combined inspiration from 90’s era drums, 80’s era bass, and 70’s era guitar. The 4-piece formed in December 2023 and quickly jumped into the local scene by supporting touring acts like Me Like Bees, America Part Two, Tristan Tritt, and Silver Fern. After being scouted by a promoter in March 2024, they were chosen to perform on the historic Overton Park Shell on Wheels at the Cooper-Young Porchfest Afterparty the following month. Since then, they have headlined local venues, performed at Memphis Art Salon events, and continued to support touring acts. Currently, they are recording their original songs and shooting a music video to go along with their first single coming out very soon. They are planning to release music by the end of the year. In the meantime, check out their live session HERE !!!
