Sarah James

Sarah James is a seasoned, musician/singer-songwriter, recording artist from Scottsdale, AZ, with deep roots in Pittsburgh, PA and Western New York State. Sarah performs solo, as a duo or trio and with her band “The Sarah James Band.” Her primary focus is an acoustic and electric-driven presentation of classic rock, singer-songwriter material and what she calls Americana-fusion.  Sarah’s style is at once honest and true to the original DNA of the music, ranging from rock-driven rhythms to the softer, thoughtful ballads. Sarah’s music at times provokes those emotions and memories one experiences upon first hearing a song. Says Sarah:

I love bringing joy and fun to the audience and the listener. Music conveys so many emotions, and it’s a wonderful gift to be able to reach people with music that touches so many aspects of life.

 

During the summer months Sarah tours the Eastern US and has been honored to perform regularly in support of venues within the Chautauqua Institution in Western New York State (CHQ.org)

Sarah is also in the midst of producing a music video for her recently released single “Take It Or Leave It,” with a planned mid-February ’25 release date.
