Nazzy the Mic is a 18 year-old female rapper from Philadelphia. Finding a love for rap music from the age of 6, she wanted to be a rapper and began to focus on her flow, songwriting, and delivery. She is heavily influenced by Young M.A, Lil Tjay, No Cap, Rylo Rodriguez H.E.R., G Herbo and YoungBoy Never Broke Again and these pioneers have affected the way Nazzy approaches her songs and writing. Nazzy raps about her real life events, instilling authenticity and relatability as an artist. Growing up she’s witnessed violence and experienced trauma, love and loss, conflicts between her religion and sexuality. She share’s her reflections on her life and conveys the emotions through her music.
