About the Band
Michelle Molina
Singer/Songwriter
Hi everyone! Performing has always been one of my passions. I had the pleasure of studying Voice with Metropolitan Opera singer Susan Quittmeyer. Thanks to her dedication to coaching me, I was able to perform a solo-recital in December 2021. In addition, I was able to take some master classes with other musicians including, Ben Jeffrey, who for over a decade has been in the role of Pumba in Broadway’s “The Lion King.”
I’ve had the honor of performing at many venues, including Carnegie Hall, where I featured as a soloist with the Rutgers University Voorhees Choir, conducted by Dr. Brandon Williams. I have also had the opportunity of being hired to perform with the Riverside Choral Society in Manhattan, New York, under the leadership of Dr. Patrick Garner. Furthermore, I currently sing with Rutgers University Kirkpatrick Choir, conducted, as well, by Dr. Patrick Gardner.
In addition to performing, teaching has evolved into a passion of mine. In 2019, I teamed up with a Non-profit organization called Student Reach Incorporated, where I had the opportunity of creating and teaching my music curriculum to an orphanage in Baja, Mexico. Within the two-month duration of the program, I was able to teach children, ages 7-16, basic music theory and any instrument of their choice. My teaching career now continues as a 7th and 8th Grade Chorus teacher.
