About the Band
Lina Kova
Singer / Songwriter
Lina Kova is an experimental pop/rock singer songwriter graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music who has been singing and writing music since the age of 3. Inspired by Hi-5, she has not stopped her passion for music since then. Not long after, she picked up the guitar to accompany her in writing her own songs where artists like Ed Sheeran and Tori Kelly were her inspiration guiding her to the path of a story-telling songwriter.
Throughout Lina’s early musical career, she spent time learning classical piano and singing in the Sydney Children’s Choir where she performed in “The Chimney Sweep”, an opera performance by Antonio Salieri, whilst also having performing in venues such as the Sydney Opera House and the Martin Place amphitheatre.
After a few years, Lina decided to focus more on her journey of becoming a solo pop/rock artist spending years writing contemporary music to releasing singles and soon, her first ever EP will be debuting. Her muse of storytelling has helped her create a musical art form that shares all of her creative imagination where all her listeners have the freedom to interpret the art into their own story.
Lina strives to always produce the best music with the goal to perform and tour with her band in festivals and events worldwide.
