Rising out of KCMO, Delayy (Joshua Gomez) began expressing himself through relatable art and music. His journey started on YouTube but took a serious turn in 2021. His first release, Made of Steel, dropped in January 2020. In 2022, he released From Love Letters to Hatred and the single Up In My City (feat. Gavin Di Different), which gained traction through playlist placements.

Known for heartfelt tracks like “NAKED PASSAGE”, “Past June”, “done had enough” and “Kiss & Makeup” Joshua channels his personal story into every song. he’s gone from being the “weird outcast kid” in high school to performing live in 2022 — a moment his mom witnessed, just like he promised her at age 11.
