Aloha! I’m Jack, a Singer-Songwriter, Producer, and Musician. I was born in Hawaii, but I have some roots on the east coast as well. My life has always been intertwined with music. Having been raised by musical parents, my family was always singing, playing instruments, writing parodies, and messing with recording equipment. I started writing, recording and playing my own music and quickly realized there was nothing like it, I wanted that to be my life. I began writing and learning the ins and outs of audio engineering and production when I moved to San Francisco in 2012 where I had some awesome opportunities to collaborate with Hip-Hop artists and producers in the Bay Area. After deciding to focus on my own music, I released my first official EP entitled “Home”. In 2019, I moved back to Hawaii after writing and recording my first Reggae album “Lover’s Rock”. Reggae and island music has always had a special place in my heart, working on that project while in San Francisco was my way of keeping a part of Hawaii with me and expressing my longing to go back. My goal was to start playing gigs after moving back to promote my album, but unfortunately COVID prevented that for quite a while. I worked various restaurant jobs, as I have most my life, and hinted to my employers that they should have me perform once live music became possible again. Eventually that became a reality and I’ve been gigging at bars, restaurants, fundraisers, weddings, and parties ever since. I’m continuing to release and write music and I can’t wait for the world to hear it!
