Edwrds is an American songwriter and producer. According to him music was a means to an end for overcoming depression and life’s trials. His songs fuse elements of pop-oriented rap and alternative rock with heartfelt, ambivalent songwriting. 

Born Jake E Lee, Edwrds was raised in suburban New York, specifically Long Island. He got into music through being a competitive dancer, often free styling with friends back stage.

In 2017 Lee took on the moniker of Edwrds. He developed his talents learning how to produce music from home and writing endlessly. After graduating from high school, Edwrds opted to fully pursue music. He went on to release albums such as “Loverboy” and “Whatever Happens” as well as multiple EP projects and singles garnering hundreds of thousands of streams.

Now Edwrds uses his music and art to raise awareness about mental health, spirituality, and authenticity. He is on a mission to help himself and others find their authentic selves.
