Azere Wilson is a bluesy roots, americana musician and storyteller from the hills of central California exploring America’s past through the lens of her life experiences, forging old-time blues, americana, and folk music with a modern twist. She’s influenced by the likes of Nina Simone, Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey and traditional Black music and bluegrass.

Azere’s first single release titled In My Time honors her African American roots with her take on a traditional tune first recorded by Blind Willie Johnson in 1927. Her full album of original tunes is set to release this Spring.
